Scholarship Program

Himalayan Trust Nepal provides various scholarships to 298 students annually to pursue higher studies after their successful completion of secondary level school education from the Solukhumbu district and wider Nepal. The main goal of the scholarship programme is to support students for pursuing higher education in different fields of studies after completion of their secondary school-level education. The specific objectives to achieve the above goals are as follows:

  • To provide partial scholarship grants to the students to complete their higher education.
  • To produce academically trained human resources who can fulfil the local requirements.
  • To encourage students to develop their future careers to fulfil the job demand in the Solukhumbu region.
  • To help reduce rural poverty through educational transformation
