Zero TB in Kids and Family” is a project carried out by @himalayantrust.nepal with support from @johnshopkinsu and in collaboration with Nepal Anti-Tuberculosis Association (NATA), and other local partners.

The primary focus of this project is to implement latent tuberculosis screening and preventive treatment within congregate settings, which include monasteries, nunneries, schools, etc. The objective is to curb tuberculosis transmission among children and families in high-risk settings, thereby alleviating the burden of tuberculosis. By introducing preventive measures in these settings, the project aims to create a healthier environment, mitigating the impact of tuberculosis on vulnerable populations.
